Sean Kelly will exhibit a solo presentation of an extraordinary new series of paintings by Kehinde Wiley at ADAA: The Art Show (Booth D24) at the Park Avenue Armory in New York, from March 5 – 9, 2014. Entitled Iconic, the presentation at The Art Show will mark the debut of these intimately scaled portraits which use the visual language and gestures of 15th century icons to depict contemporary subjects selected by Wiley from the streets of New York City. These eight new portraits are presented in specially designed frames that are architectural and gilded in the styles of their Byzantine forebears.
